Terms of service
Atlas AI is a personal tool, not a commercial product. It is provided free of charge, as is, without warranties of any kind and with no availability commitment. It may stop working or cease to exist at any time.
Spanish is the reference language for this document. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish text prevails.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the use of Atlas AI, a tool operated by
Alejandro Olmedo (the "operator"), registered with Meta as a developer
application with the public identifier 1583910826653085.
You accept these terms if you own or administer a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account and ask the operator to onboard it into Atlas AI, or grant the operator an administrator role over it for that purpose.
2. Nature of the service
This needs to be clear before anything else:
- Atlas AI is a personal project. It is not a product, not a company, and not a software-as-a-service offering.
- Nothing is charged for its use. There is no subscription, no billing, and no commercial relationship.
- There is no service level agreement. No availability, response time, publishing frequency, or continuity is guaranteed.
- There is no committed technical support. The operator answers queries as availability allows, with no enforceable deadlines, except for requests concerning personal data, which do have the deadlines stated in the privacy policy.
The system's architecture is prepared to evolve into a service, but today it is not one. If it ever becomes one, new terms would be published and express acceptance would be requested before applying them.
3. Who can use it
Access is closed and by invitation. There is a single administrator user — the operator — and no public account registration.
For your Page to be onboarded you need to:
- Be of legal age in your jurisdiction.
- Own the Page, or have sufficient authority to decide on its content and administration.
- Voluntarily grant the operator an administrator role over the Page, through Meta's official tools.
- Comply with the Facebook and Instagram terms of use, which remain applicable at all times.
4. How it works and what is asked of you
The system retrieves content from public sources, drafts post proposals with artificial intelligence, and publishes them to your Page only after explicit human approval.
What is asked of you as Page owner:
- Keep the administrator role for as long as you want the tool to operate. If you remove it, access is cut off immediately and the system stops publishing.
- Review the content published on your Page. It remains your Page and remains your responsibility towards your audience and towards Meta.
- Tell the operator if you spot inappropriate content, an error, or any unexpected behaviour.
5. Acceptable use
Atlas AI may not be used, nor asked to be used, to generate or publish:
- Illegal content, or content promoting illegal activity.
- Deliberate misinformation, deception, or impersonation.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or incitement to violence.
- Sexually explicit content, or material involving minors.
- Spam, artificial mass posting, or reach manipulation techniques.
- Content infringing third-party intellectual property rights.
- Content violating the Facebook or Instagram Community Standards, or the Meta Platform Terms.
The operator may suspend or remove a Page from the system, without prior notice, upon observing any of the above.
6. Content and editorial responsibility
- Nothing is published without approval. This is a design principle of the system, not a configurable option.
- Whoever approves is answerable. Editorial responsibility for a post rests with whoever approved it and with the owner of the Page it appears on.
- You may request removal of any post made on your Page. The system can edit and delete posts it created itself.
7. AI-generated content
Proposals are drafted by a language model. Language models can get things wrong, invent facts, attribute false statements, or misread a source. This is not an occasional defect of the system: it is a known characteristic of the technology.
That is why human review is mandatory, and why no generated claim should be taken as true without verification. The operator does not warrant the accuracy, originality, suitability, or quality of generated content.
8. Intellectual property
- Content published on your Page is yours. The operator claims no rights over text or images published on Pages that do not belong to them.
- The Atlas AI code belongs to the operator. These terms grant no licence over the software, nor any right to copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from it.
- Third-party content remains third-party content. Material obtained from public sources retains its rights holders' rights; the system uses it as raw material for drafting, not as something to republish verbatim.
9. Third-party platforms
Atlas AI depends entirely on services the operator does not control: Meta's API, Cloudflare's infrastructure, and content sources. If any of them changes its terms, becomes unavailable, revokes an access, or changes its behaviour, the tool may stop working in whole or in part, without prior notice and without liability arising from it.
Use of Facebook and Instagram is additionally governed by Meta's terms, which you accept directly with Meta and which prevail over these terms in everything concerning those platforms.
10. Availability and modifications
The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue Atlas AI — in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently — at any time and without needing to give reasons. Reasonable advance notice will be attempted where an interruption is planned and affects third-party Pages, but this is not an enforceable obligation.
11. No warranties
The tool is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, freedom from error, service continuity, or non-infringement of third-party rights.
In particular, there is no warranty that:
- The system will be available at any given moment.
- Posts will be published within any particular timeframe.
- Generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or publishable.
- No data will be lost.
- The third-party services it depends on will keep working.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, data loss, loss of reach, loss of followers, reputational harm, or the consequences of sanctions or restrictions applied by Meta to a Page or account.
Given that the tool is provided free of charge and without consideration, the operator's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to zero, except in cases where applicable law does not permit exclusion, such as wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
None of the above limits the operator's obligations regarding personal data protection, which are governed by the privacy policy and by applicable law.
13. Termination
- By you. At any time, by removing the administrator role from your Page in Meta or by notifying the operator by email. No notice period, no penalty, no paperwork.
- By the operator. At any time, with or without cause, by removing the Page from the system.
On termination, access ceases and the credentials associated with your Page are revoked and deleted. Records of posts already made are retained for the periods stated in the privacy policy, unless you request their deletion following the data deletion procedure. Posts already published remain on your Page, under your control.
14. Privacy and data
Data processing is described in full in the privacy policy, which forms an inseparable part of these terms.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date in the header and the version number will be changed. If the change is material, it will be communicated by email to the owners of onboarded Pages before it takes effect. Continuing to use the tool after that communication constitutes acceptance of the new version.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to any consumer rights you may have in your place of residence.
If any clause of these terms is found void or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain fully valid.
